APPLICATIONS

Our Vertical-axis wind turbine offers a wide range of applications and can be used in the following different areas to meet specific needs.

  • Decentralised electricity supply

    Use in business parks and industrial estates can cover the energy demand completely on-site. Decentralised energy generation reduces dependence on external energy sources.

  • Hybrid systems

    Vertical-axis wind turbines can be used in combination with other renewable energy sources, such as solar panels and horizontal wind turbines. Integrating vertical-axis wind turbines into hybrid systems further increases the potential of wind energy and thus maximises the energy yield.

  • Remote areas

    Our system can be installed anywhere in the world to meet the demand for electrical energy. Especially for rural areas where access to electricity is limited, this provides a reliable source of energy. Furthermore, the wind turbine can be used to pump water. This application is particularly relevant in developing countries.

  • Hydrogen production

    Another approach is the production of hydrogen for use in fuel cell vehicles. The electricity generated is used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen using electrolysis. The hydrogen obtained can subsequently be used as a clean fuel for vehicles. Also, the hydrogen produced can be used to store energy to be converted back into electricity during periods of low wind power or high demand. A continuous and reliable power supply can thus be guaranteed. The use of vertical-axis wind turbines in combination with hydrogen offers an innovative solution for the efficient use of energy and the promotion of clean mobility.
